From the 11th to the 14th
The 27th International Mold and Related Industries Exhibition (INTERMOLD KOREA 2025), where mold and related industries can be seen all in one place, will be held.
On the 6th, the Korea Federation of SMEs announced that INTERMOLD KOREA 2025, hosted by the Korea Mold Industry Cooperative and supported by five ministries and organizations including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea Federation of SMEs, the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and KOTRA, will be held. The exhibition will take place from the 11th to the 14th at Halls 2 to 5 of the Kintex Exhibition Center 1 in Ilsan.
INTERMOLD KOREA was first held in Seoul in 1981 and has presented demand creation and development prospects for the entire mold industry, including excellent domestic and international molds, raw materials, and the latest mold processing equipment. It has had ripple effects not only on front industries such as automotive, electrical and electronics, semiconductors, machinery, optical precision, and household goods but also on rear industries including mold materials and parts, machine tools, heat treatment, and industrial design.
This year, 350 companies from 20 countries, including Korea, will participate with 1,200 booths, presenting sustainable development such as digital transformation in the mold and related industries. The Mold Cooperative plans to maximize synergy between the front and rear mold-related industries by expanding exhibition items related to AI and 3D printing, building on the successful hosting experience of the exhibition in 2023 despite the global manufacturing downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The exhibition items comprehensively cover related products such as molds and parts, tools, mold processing machine tools, mold CAD/CAM systems, 3D printer-related equipment, foundational process technologies (casting and forging), and intelligent process technologies (robots and sensors). At this exhibition, many leading companies presenting manufacturing innovation examples in the mold industry, such as mold manufacturing methods using AI, digital twin solutions, and metal additive manufacturing, will participate, and several new converged mold technologies will be unveiled through conferences held during the exhibition period.
In particular, on the 12th, an export consultation meeting jointly hosted by the Mold Cooperative, KOTRA, and overseas related organizations will be held in a conference room within the exhibition hall. Active consultations are expected between 50 domestic manufacturers of molds and parts and 30 overseas buyers and end-users from Japan, the Americas, Europe, and other regions. Additionally, delegations from nine major Asian mold industry countries (Japan, China, India, Thailand, etc.) will attend to widely promote the status of K-Mold through the Mold Industry Countries General Assembly (FADMA AGM), exhibition participation, and export company meetings, thereby strengthening export stability such as diversification of export networks in the mold industry.
