Deliberation Committee on School Meal Support Held the Previous Day
Total Support Amounting to 3.6 Billion KRW
Gochang County in North Jeolla Province has decided, through deliberation and resolution, to provide a total of 3.6 billion KRW in meal expenses to local daycare centers, kindergartens, elementary, middle, and high schools.
According to the county on the 6th, at the Gochang County School Meal Support Deliberation Committee held the previous day, major agenda items related to meal support were discussed, including the selection of schools to receive support and confirmation of the scale and recipients of the support.

The committee consists of a total of 10 members who are directly or indirectly related to school meals, including the Director of the Rural and Fisheries Industry Bureau of Gochang County as the chair, the Head of Rural Vitality, county council members, officials from the Gochang Office of Education, teachers and nutrition teachers, representatives from agricultural organizations such as the Gochang County Council and the Eco-friendly Farmers' Association, and parent representatives.
Each committee member discussed ways to provide a better meal environment for students.
Seong Hyunseop, Head of the Rural Vitality Division of the county, said, "We will do our best to provide safe and healthy meals to local students," and added, "We will pursue mutual growth with farmers by discovering public meal service providers in the region."
