Expectations for Enhanced Disability Welfare Experience
Yeonggwang County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that it is operating the "Direct Line for People with Disabilities under the County Governor" as a dedicated channel for direct communication with people with disabilities.
The "Direct Line for People with Disabilities under the County Governor," which has been in operation since December last year, is a communication channel that simplifies the civil complaint process to enhance the sense of welfare for people with disabilities and make it easier to propose disability-related policies.
Starting this month, Yeonggwang County has established and is operating a new, easy-to-remember phone number for the direct line under the county governor.
Inquiries regarding any matters related to disability welfare can be made during regular business hours (9:00-12:00, 13:00-18:00) on weekdays.
A Yeonggwang County official said, "We hope for a lot of interest in the direct line for people with disabilities under the county governor. We will do our best to raise awareness of people with disabilities and strengthen disability-friendly administrative operations to realize resident welfare that truly moves people."
