New Menus and Products Featuring Jeju Specialties Provided

Samsung Welstory is collaborating with the Jeju Tourism Organization to hold a 'Value Market' event with the concept of mutual growth in the Jeju region until next month.

On the 6th, Samsung Welstory stated, "We aim to convey the meaning of value consumption that contributes to revitalizing the local economy while helping to recover Jeju's economy, which has been stagnated due to a decrease in tourists, by providing new menus using Jeju specialties, popular local products, and tourism information to customers using our employee cafeterias."

On the 27th of last month, Samsung Welstory signed a business agreement with the Jeju Tourism Organization and developed new menus using specialties from Dongbaek Village and Sehwa Village, Jeju tourist villages selected by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in 2023. The menu includes Dongbaek Oil Gosari Pasta, which allows you to enjoy the flavor of Dongbaek oil, a specialty of Dongbaek Village, and Dongbaek Oil Makguksu and Dongbaek Oil Bibimbap containing carrots from Sehwa Village. Samsung Welstory plans to support expanding sales channels by supplying Sehwa Village carrots to its food ingredient client companies.

Samsung Welstory will also offer popular Jeju products and items that highlight the unique characteristics of the Jeju region. Products prepared include 'Hahyo Mom Gamgyulgwaje' from Hahyo Salon Cooperative, a Jeju social enterprise, coffee beans and drip bags from the Jeju local brand 'Yudong Coffee,' and 'Hyunmuan Dakgangjeong,' which recreates Jeju's basalt rock.

In addition, Samsung Welstory, together with Carum Stay, has selected six spring-related themes: recommended restaurants by Jeju residents, healing Jeju to nourish myself, the most Jeju-like mom and travel, healing with children, with our family pets, and Jeju travel on two wheels. These will be produced in booklet form and provided to customers using the employee cafeterias. 'Carum Stay' is an integrated Jeju village travel brand operated by the Jeju Tourism Organization.
