On the 6th, the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) announced that it will jointly conduct the financial investment experience education program 'FSS Investment Expedition' with the Korea Investor Education Association (KIEA) to enhance students' financial capabilities and help them explore financial career paths.
The program is designed for students to visit the FSS and KIEA located in Yeouido in person and experience various activities such as the FSS promotional hall (Financial Maru), financial board games, financial investment experience center, and simulated investment experience.
The education is targeted at groups of 20 to 30 middle and high school students (applications accepted on a school basis). Applications can be submitted through the Ministry of Education's career experience support center 'Kkumgil' and the FSS 'e-Financial Education Center' website until the 19th.
An FSS official stated, "We expect that by having students take an early interest in financial investment and directly experience rational investment decision-making, it will help them form sound investment habits to prepare for future economic independence."
