With warm weather expected from this weekend, demand for spring clothing is increasing. In fact, during the last weekend when temperatures rose sharply (February 28 to March 3), Lotte Department Store’s fashion sales increased by 25% compared to the same period last year. As outdoor activities increased, sales of outdoor product categories grew by 30% during the same period.

Lotte Department Store expanded this year’s event, which was previously focused on women’s and men’s fashion brands, to include golf, sports, and outdoor brands. The number of participating brands has more than doubled compared to last year, making it the largest scale ever. The event start date was moved up by about a week compared to last year, and the duration was extended from 4 days to 10 days.

Representative participating brands include ‘Time,’ ‘Maison Kitsune,’ ‘Theory Men,’ ‘System Homme,’ ‘Malbon Golf,’ ‘Beanpole Golf,’ ‘Snow Peak,’ ‘Patagonia,’ ‘Nike,’ and ‘Adidas.’ Depending on the store and brand, customers can receive up to 10% of their purchase amount in Lotte gift certificates as part of a gratitude promotion, along with benefits such as price discounts and free gifts.

Since spring is a season when outdoor activities like hiking and camping are active, outdoor-related benefits have also been strengthened. Until the 20th, eight stores including Jamsil, Incheon, and Suwon will sell popular outdoor products from brands such as ‘National Geographic,’ ‘Black Yak,’ and ‘Nepa’ at discounts of up to 70%.

The high-end lifestyle outdoor brand ‘And Wander’ (March 7 to April 3, Jamsil World Mall) and the industry-first pop-up collaboration of Japanese fashion labels ‘Fragment’ and ‘Pokemon’ called the ‘Thunderbolt Project’ (March 14 to 23, Jamsil AvenueL) will also be showcased. Additionally, this weekend (March 7 to 9), outdoor brands such as ‘Snow Peak,’ ‘Patagonia,’ and ‘Eider’ across all stores will offer promotions including up to 7% price discounts and gift certificate giveaways.

From the 13th to the 16th, even more special benefits will be offered in collaboration with eight major fashion groups. Participants include ‘Handsomme,’ ‘Samsung C&T,’ ‘Shinsegae International,’ ‘ID Look,’ ‘LF,’ ‘Daehyun,’ ‘Siseon International,’ and ‘Baba Fashion.’ For example, ‘Handsomme’ brands such as ‘Time,’ ‘Mine,’ and ‘System’ will run a ‘Handsomme Double Mileage’ promotion, doubling the existing brand mileage accumulation rate from 5% to 10%. ‘Samsung C&T’ brands like ‘Kuho,’ ‘Le Beige,’ ‘Beanpole,’ ‘Maison Kitsune,’ and ‘Theory,’ as well as ‘ID Look’ brands such as ‘Sandro’ and ‘Maje,’ will offer up to 10% price discounts on new spring products, with additional purchase benefits depending on the participating fashion groups and brands.

Online at Lotte Department Store Mall, the monthly biggest discount event ‘Lotback Week’ will be held from the 10th to the 16th. A total of 100 carefully selected brands will participate in various promotions. Representative brands include ‘Nike,’ ‘National Geographic,’ ‘Thursday Island,’ and ‘Kangol,’ with three products selected daily to earn up to 100 times (5%) L.Points. Additionally, coupons offering up to 13% discounts based on purchase amounts will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Jin Seung-hyun, head of Lotte Department Store’s fashion division, said, “This year, with warmer spring weather expected than usual, we moved the large-scale fashion event period up by about a week and doubled the number of participating brands compared to last year to capture spring shopping demand. We plan to continue closely monitoring changing shopping environments such as weather and strive to present promotions and content that fit those changes.”
