Husband and Son Confess to Murder of Wife and Mother Right After Rescue
An woman in her 80s was found dead in Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province.
On the 5th, the Ilsan Western Police Station announced that the previous night, an man in his 80s, Mr. A, and his son in his 50s, Mr. B, attempted suicide at Jamsil Hangang Park in Seoul but were rescued.
Mr. A and Mr. B confessed immediately after being rescued that they had killed Mrs. C, the woman in her 80s who was their wife and mother.
The police found Mrs. C deceased at their residence in Ilsan Seo-gu, Goyang-si, and urgently arrested Mr. A and Mr. B.
A police official stated, "Further investigation is needed regarding the motive for the crime."
