Three Key Projects:
Construction of Hapcheon Culture and Arts Center,
Sangnade District Road Expansion,
and Maintenance of the Aging Jeokjung Deokgol Reservoir
Hapcheon County in Gyeongnam has begun moving swiftly to secure special grants to promptly resolve local pending projects.
On the 5th, Vice Governor Jang Jaehyuk visited the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, met with Director Ha Sangmok of the Local Finance Bureau, and also visited the Grants Division of the Ministry to request special grant support for local pending projects.
Jang Jaehyeok, Deputy Governor of Hapcheon County, is explaining to secure special grants during a visit to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The projects proposed that day include ▲ the construction of Hapcheon Culture and Arts Center ▲ the road expansion project in Sangnade District (Agricultural Road No. 202) ▲ and the maintenance project for the aging Jeokjung Deokgol reservoir, totaling three projects (3 billion KRW). He explained in detail the urgency and necessity of these projects and urged that the special grants be secured without fail.
Meanwhile, along with the request for special grant projects, a session was held to thoroughly explain Hapcheon County’s current situation regarding reductions in local allocation tax.
Vice Governor Jang said, “Visiting central government ministries directly to candidly discuss the necessity of projects and difficulties in their promotion is the most effective way to resolve local issues and secure government budgets,” adding, “We will continue to frequently visit central ministries to ensure timely progress of pending projects and make every effort to secure national funds, which are the driving force for future growth.”
