Three Types, 18 Groups to Receive Total Support of 30 Million KRW
Applications Accepted Until March 21
Guro-gu announced that it is recruiting participants for the 'Guro-gu Resident Public Contest Project' until March 21.
The district operates the 'Guro-gu Resident Public Contest Project' to allow residents to directly propose and implement projects to solve local problems and strengthen resident autonomy capabilities.
The contest project fields are divided into three types: △ Seed Stage (Making Neighbors) △ Sprout Stage (Our Neighborhood Proposal Project) △ Execution Stage (Social Problem Solving Project), selecting 18 groups in total and providing a total support of 30 million KRW.
The Seed Stage type supports various small groups to help residents develop their capabilities and facilitate mutual exchange.
The Sprout Stage type aims to support resident activities that solve various community issues such as seniors, single-person households, environmental care, and sharing.
The Execution Stage type focuses on promoting projects specialized for Guro-gu, including safety fields such as disasters and welfare.
Eligibility requires a group of three or more people residing or working in Guro-gu. Anyone can apply for the Seed Stage type, but the Sprout Stage and Execution Stage types require prior experience participating in resident public contest projects.
Subsidies are provided within the limits of each project type, and 5?10% of the cost must be self-funded.
Applications must be submitted with the required documents by the 21st of this month, either by visiting the Resident Autonomy Team of the Autonomous Administration Division at Guro-gu Office or by email (2016110210@guro.go.kr).
For more details, contact the Guro-gu Office website or the Resident Autonomy Team. A Guro-gu official said, “We hope this contest project will activate communication and smooth exchange among Guro-gu residents,” and added, “We ask for the interest and participation of many residents to realize sustainable resident autonomy.”
