Yuseonghun, Geumcheon District Mayor, Shares Future Vision with Staff on 30th Anniversary of District Office Opening

Reaffirming the Mindset and Spirit of Service as Public Officials

Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that on the morning of the 4th at 10 a.m., it held a regular staff assembly at Geumnarae Art Hall to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the district office's establishment.

The assembly was organized as an opportunity to renew the mindset as public officials, share the district administration vision, and communicate with the staff.

On this day, Mayor Yu Seong-hoon of Geumcheon-gu presented the "30th Anniversary Commemorative Future Strategy Vision." Reflecting on the history of Geumcheon-gu and its achievements over the past 30 years, Mayor Yu proposed three major leaps: ▲Advancing as one of Seoul's four major economic hub cities ▲Becoming a gateway city to the metropolitan area ▲Transforming into a people-centered community city, and shared nine strategic tasks to realize these goals with the staff.

Mayor Yu Seong-hoon stated, "Compared to the beginning of the 7th local government term in 2017, the Geumcheon-gu budget has more than doubled (112%) as of 2025, reaching a total of 764.9 billion KRW," and added, "This achievement is thanks to the efforts of all staff members, and I hope you will continue to take pride as public officials of Geumcheon-gu and work hard for the development of the district administration."

He also emphasized, "While work methods and passion are important, this is an era where communication and leadership are even more necessary," and said, "Recently, the pain from relationships has become greater than that from diseases or economic difficulties. Regardless of rank, I hope we can create an organizational culture of mutual communication and cooperation so that employees can work in a better environment."

On this day, the staff read aloud the Public Officials' Charter, taking time to reaffirm their sense of mission as public servants, the spirit of serving residents, and the value of integrity.
