Creating a Work Environment for Work-Family Balance
Lotte Construction prepared a special event to celebrate the elementary school entrance of employees' children.
On the 4th, Lotte Construction announced that it provided gift cards allowing employees' children entering elementary school this year to choose their own gifts reflecting their personalities, along with congratulatory letters. This is the second time following last year.

Based on the feedback using the children's replies, Lotte Construction plans to select 10 participants for the event and provide small prizes such as hotel accommodation vouchers. A special dining occasion will also be arranged to support family time together.
In addition, Lotte Construction produced a video capturing children’s joyful reactions upon receiving gifts and scenes of them enjoying activities such as treasure hunts and board games. To capture natural responses, filming was done in an observation camera style. The video will be released next month on the YouTube channel 'Lotte Construction TV'.
A Lotte Construction official stated, "We will continue to operate various welfare programs to create an optimal working environment that achieves a balance between work and family."
Meanwhile, Lotte Construction operates various systems supporting childbirth and childcare. They have introduced systems such as mandatory paternity leave, extended maternity leave (up to 2 years), and flexible working hours to create an environment where employees can naturally take childcare leave after childbirth.
