On the 4th, the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation signed a business agreement with Seosan City to provide loan support for the acquisition of individual taxi licenses.
The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Wan-seop, Mayor of Seosan, Song Yeon-gwang, Head of NH Bank Seosan Branch, and Cho So-haeng, Chairman of Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation.
According to the agreement, Seosan City will contribute 100 million KRW and provide an interest subsidy of 2.5% during the 10-year loan period. NH Bank will also contribute 100 million KRW to support loans for general taxi drivers, while Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation will provide credit guarantees totaling 2.4 billion KRW.
With this agreement, the guarantee limit and ratio will be increased, and preferential benefits such as guarantee fee reductions will be applied.
Currently, the transaction price for an individual taxi license in Seosan is around 200 million KRW, and each business can receive support of up to 100 million KRW.
The loan interest rate will be the 6-month MOR floating rate (2.88% as of the 4th) plus 2.0%. However, with Seosan City's 2.5% interest subsidy applied, the final interest burden will be adjusted to within 2.38%. The guarantee fee from Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation is set at 0.8% or less per year.
This individual taxi license acquisition loan guarantee support will be implemented from April 1, and applications can be made by visiting a nearby Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation or NH Bank branch, or through the 'Bojeung Dream' app.
Lee Wan-seop, Mayor of Seosan, stated, "I hope this agreement will provide substantial help to individual taxi drivers."
Cho So-haeng, Chairman of Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation, said, "Through this support, we aim to alleviate financial burdens and contribute to the stability and revitalization of the local economy."
