Applications can be submitted online through the city's Mental Health Welfare Center website or by phone.
Last year, about 30 citizens, university students from within the province, and registered members of the city's Mental Health Welfare Center participated as supporters. They delivered accurate information about mental health to citizens through activities such as ▲mental health awareness campaigns ▲support for mental health-related education ▲promotional activities for 'World Mental Health Day' on October 10.
The city's Mental Health Welfare Center operates this program to help citizens actively participate in mental health improvement activities, going beyond the traditional method of providing mental health services. For more information, please contact the Mental Health Welfare Center.
Son Heekyung, head of the Public Health Center, said, "Together with the Mental Health Supporters, we will raise awareness of mental health throughout the community and create an active environment so that residents can receive preventive support before experiencing mental difficulties."
