QR Membership Card Free Pass Introduced for Paid Members
No Reservation or Ticket Needed, 2 Hours of Free Parking at Seoul Branch

The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA) announced on the 4th that it will newly introduce a QR membership card free pass service exclusively for the 'National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art Membership (Membership)'.

According to the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, when using the QR membership card free pass service, visitors can enter freely without advance reservation or ticket issuance. The Seoul branch offers 2 hours of free parking. The membership lounge can be used up to 60 times a year. The QR membership card can be issued to any paid member through the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art website and exhibition guide app.

The membership-exclusive cultural programs will also be greatly expanded. Regular lectures featuring invited celebrities titled 'MMCA Art Salon: Gaze' will be held. On closed days, 'MMCA Art Salon: Private Tour' with curators and 'Morning Walk in the Museum,' which starts the day at 9 a.m. before the Seoul branch opens, will be conducted alongside artworks. The 'MMCA Art Salon: Museum Experts' program, which offers lectures and talks with experts in various museum fields such as education, design, collections, artwork conservation, and public relations, will also be expanded. Event information will be sent via email to both free and paid members. Paid members can also receive text message notifications. In March, a conversation with Yang Jung-wook, the final winner of the ‘Artist of the Year Award 2024,’ and a 'MMCA Art Salon: Private Tour' with curators will be held.

To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the membership launch, a discount event will be held. New membership sign-ups will receive a 10% discount on the annual fee, and re-subscriptions will receive a 20% discount. The first 300 people will receive an ‘MMCA Eco Bag.’ Those who purchase a membership gift card will be given a photo card featuring the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art’s collection.
