LG U+ Surpasses SKT and KT in 5G Quality in Seoul [MWC On-site]

On the 3rd (local time), LG Uplus received the 'Best 5G Network in Seoul' award at the 'Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025' held in Barcelona, Spain. This award, given by the global evaluation agency Ookla, recognizes LG Uplus's 5G speed and stability.

Ookla operates the Speedtest app used daily by 11 million people worldwide. The company tested download and upload speeds, latency, video playback, and call quality in Seoul, and among the three major domestic telecom companies, LG Uplus achieved the best results.

For this award, Ookla conducted network quality tests in various cities around the world. The category LG Uplus won this year comprehensively analyzed network performance in Seoul, including 5G download and upload speeds, latency, video streaming, and voice calls, and was awarded to the operator with the most outstanding performance.
