Democratic Party of Korea Holds 'Cooperation Lawmaker Agreement Ceremony'
between Jeonnam and Busan Regional Committees

The Democratic Party of Korea's Jeonnam Goheung, Boseong, Jangheung, and Gangjin Regional Committee (Chairman Moon Geumju) and the Busan Gangseo-gu Regional Committee (Chairman Byun Seongwan) announced on the 2nd that they held a 'Cooperation Lawmaker Agreement Ceremony' on the 28th of last month, pledging to strengthen mutual cooperation and make joint efforts for regional development.

This event, held as part of regional cooperation for the Democratic Party's nationwide expansion, carries significant meaning as the two regional committees aim to promote local economic and social development through mutual cooperation and realize the party's policies and vision.

The agreement ceremony took place in Gangseo-gu, Busan, with both Chairman Moon Geumju and Chairman Byun Seongwan, as well as officials from both regional committees, in attendance. The two committees promised to closely cooperate in making joint proposals and policy suggestions to the central government and local governments, and to coordinate their efforts to speak with a unified voice. In particular, they plan to pursue policies that reflect the voices of local residents and bring about tangible changes.

Chairman Moon Geumju stated, "We will continue our efforts for the mutual development of both regions," emphasizing, "We will not only create a better living environment for residents of both areas, but also overcome the political structure that perpetuates regionalism and creates strongholds and neglected areas."
