Achieving First-Grade Integrity Rating for Two Consecutive Years in 2023 and 2024
Eldest Daughter Accepted to Harvard Medical School Graduate Program, Bringing Double Joy
Kim Kyung-ho, the mayor of Gwangjin District, has been smiling brightly as good things have happened one after another.
Since taking office as the elected mayor of Gwangjin District in the 8th term, Mayor Kim has felt great fulfillment by achieving a first-grade rating for two consecutive years in the Integrity Evaluation conducted by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
Accordingly, Mayor Kim was in such a good mood that he proudly presented the 2025 district administration report himself (PT) during a conversation with residents earlier this year.
The significance Mayor Kim places on achieving the first-grade integrity rating stems from the fact that previous evaluations were not favorable. Integrity ratings are very important not only for positive assessments from external residents but also for internal evaluations by the staff themselves.
Because of this, Mayor Kim is known to express gratitude to the employees and take pride in their efforts.
Along with this, Mayor Kim has been greatly pleased by a joyous event in his family this year.
His eldest daughter, Do-yeon, is reported to have been accepted into Harvard Medical School after graduating from Johns Hopkins University in the United States. Having excelled academically from a young age, she graduated from Daewon Foreign Language High School and immediately entered Johns Hopkins University, majoring in psychology. Since middle school, she dreamed of becoming a doctor who treats other doctors, and she has now succeeded in entering Harvard Medical School graduate program to realize that dream.
Recently, Mayor Kim shared this news with his executives and received congratulations.
After graduating from Chonnam National University and passing the 31st Administrative Examination, Kim Kyung-ho began his public service career in Seoul. He has served as Director of Welfare and Health, Head of Urban Transportation Headquarters, Secretary General of the Seoul Metropolitan Council, Deputy Mayor of Gwangjin District, and President of the Seoul Agricultural and Marine Products Corporation.
