Full-scale Promotion of Busan Port Customized Employment Support Project
Busan Port Authority (BPA) signed a business agreement on the 28th with the Public Coexistence Solidarity Fund (Chairman Noh Gwang-pyo) to smoothly promote the Busan Port customized employment support project.

This project was selected through the 7th Public Coexistence Solidarity Contest hosted by the Public Coexistence Solidarity Fund, with Busan Port Authority applying to revitalize the local economy and create jobs.
The signing ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Public Coexistence Solidarity Fund in Seoul, attended by key officials from both organizations. The main contents include ▲operating programs to support employment and independence of youth in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions ▲customized support to connect employment between Busan Port-related industries and local youth ▲practical cooperation necessary for project operation.
Busan Port Authority will closely cooperate with the foundation for effective project operation and contribute to revitalizing the local economy and creating jobs. Detailed project contents include ▲hosting job matching days between local youth and Busan Port-related industries ▲supporting local youth in obtaining industry-specific certifications ▲employment competency enhancement education such as resume writing and interview speech. Through the project, BPA plans to provide employment incentives and employment congratulatory bonuses to local youth matched with jobs and related industries to motivate each participant.
The project recruitment targets are ▲youth aged 18 to 34 residing in the Busan and Gyeongnam regions, including children about to leave protection, youth preparing for independence, North Korean defectors, second-generation multicultural families, persons with disabilities, and national merit recipients, and ▲Busan Port-related industries located in Busan and Gyeongnam.
Song Sang-geun, President of BPA, said, “This agreement is an important opportunity for Busan Port Authority to expand its role as a partner of the local community,” adding, “We will work with the Public Coexistence Solidarity Fund to provide practical help to local youth and enhance the competitiveness of Busan Port.”
