Gurye County Holds 'AI Utilization' Informatization Training for Senior Officials

Gurye County in Jeollanam-do announced on the 28th that it held an informatization training session on "Utilizing AI for Efficient Work" on the 25th, attended by 22 senior officials including the Deputy County Governor and heads of departments and towns.

With the rapid advancement of AI technology, the use of artificial intelligence for work efficiency has emerged as a major issue in public administration. In response, Gurye County promoted training for senior officials to enhance the quality of administrative services and lay the foundation for smart administration.

On the 25th, Gurye County conducted an informatization training session on "AI Utilization for Efficient Work" attended by 22 senior officials, including the vice county governor and heads of departments and townships. Provided by Gurye County

This training aimed to enhance the understanding of generative AI technology among senior officials and to equip them with the basic competencies needed to effectively integrate AI into administrative tasks.

The training covered a variety of practical topics, including: ▲ Changes in generative AI and ethical issues ▲ Automated task processing using AI ▲ Methods for drafting planning documents with conversational AI ▲ Image creation and editing using generative AI.

Senior officials who participated in the training showed great interest in the potential for AI technology to be utilized throughout administration and agreed on the need to actively adopt it in their work.

County Governor Kim Soonho stated, "I expect that this training will help senior officials understand generative AI technology and greatly contribute to realizing smart administration," adding, "We will continue to systematically promote training to strengthen the digital capabilities of our staff."

Meanwhile, Gurye County plans to expand informatization training for public officials that reflects the latest IT technologies, with the goal of providing residents with prompt and efficient administrative services.
