Balvenie Korea Embarks on 'The Ultimate Pairing' Journey
with Actress Kim Goeun and Chef Ahn Seongjae

William Grant & Sons Korea's single malt whisky Balvenie announced on the 28th that it has launched a new season of 'The Balvenie Makers Campaign,' which highlights the value of craftsmanship and artisan spirit, and has selected actress Kim Go-eun and chef Ahn Seong-jae as the official muses of the campaign.


The Balvenie Makers Campaign is a global campaign that conveys the brand heritage of making whisky by adhering to traditional manufacturing methods for over 130 years. In Korea, it has collaborated with traditional artisans and makers of Korean musical instruments since 2021, and last year, it met with Michelin-starred chefs in the culinary field to exchange inspiration.

Last year, Balvenie actively led the spread of 'whisky food pairing culture' together with chefs, and this year embarks on a journey to complete a higher level of pairing. Actress Kim Go-eun and chef Ahn Seong-jae will lead the journey of ‘The Ultimate Pairing’ as muses of the campaign, further promoting the recently spotlighted whisky food pairing.


The ultimate pairing journey featuring actress Kim Go-eun and chef Ahn Seong-jae can be viewed on Balvenie Korea’s official YouTube channel. A teaser video featuring the two was first released on the 27th, and the full episode is scheduled to be released in March.
