Kim Yangsun Inaugurated as 16th President of Chungnam Saenghwalgaeseon Association

Kim Yangsun (62, Hongseong) has been inaugurated as the 16th president of the Chungnam Life Improvement Association.


The Korea Life Improvement Chungnam Association held the inauguration ceremony for the 15th and 16th presidents on the morning of the 27th at the main auditorium of the Chungnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services. The event was attended by more than 300 people, including heads of cooperating organizations, group leaders, and members.


At the ceremony, Ki Yangsun (59, Seosan), the 15th president, stepped down, and Kim Yangsun took office as the new 16th president, who will lead the association for the next two years.


New president Kim Yangsun stated, "The role of the Life Improvement Association is becoming even more important for the sustainable development of agriculture and rural communities," and added, "I will strengthen the capabilities of women farmers and, together with our 8,300 members, devote myself to the advancement of agriculture and rural communities in Chungnam."


The Chungnam Life Improvement Association has over 8,300 members active in 15 cities and counties in Chungnam, carrying out various activities such as improving rural living culture, advancing agriculture, and contributing to the local community.


Outgoing 15th president Ki Yangsun said, "Thanks to the active cooperation and support of our members, we were able to achieve many accomplishments," and added, "I will continue to support the ongoing development of the association in the future."


The Korea Life Improvement Chungnam Association has been conducting various activities aimed at improving the status and protecting the rights of rural women, as well as fostering the next generation of female leaders.
