Held at Gyedang Hall Gymnasium on the 26th
Sangmyung University held its 2025 entrance ceremony at the Gyedang Hall gymnasium on the Cheonan campus on the 26th.
This year, the Cheonan campus welcomed 1,411 new students. The ceremony included the entrance declaration by President Hong Sungtae, the awarding of scholarships, and a welcome performance by current students majoring in theater.
After the entrance ceremony, there were special lectures on university life, a campus video tour, advice from current students, celebratory performances by student clubs, and departmental exchange events.
Additionally, an information session for parents was held, providing explanations of the curriculum, employment and student support programs, as well as consultation booths.
In his congratulatory address, President Hong Sungtae said, "Sangmyung University will be a strong supporter of your growth as you join us in shaping the university's future vision. I hope you grow into talented individuals with warm hearts who will lead the changes in the world."
