Samyook University announced on the 28th that it has been selected as an operating university for the 2025 Graduate Specialized Program, hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
This project was newly established by the Ministry of Employment and Labor this year to prevent unemployed graduates, so-called ‘resting youth,’ and aims to provide various customized programs to help graduates smoothly enter the labor market.
With this selection, Samyook University secured 112 million KRW in government funding. Based on this, the university plans to establish a system to identify unemployed graduates and strengthen post-graduation management to create a more systematic employment support system. Since Samyook University has been operating the ‘University Job Plus Center Project (Hub Type)’ and the ‘Customized Employment Service Project for Enrolled Students,’ it stated that it has established a full-cycle support system covering everything from career planning to job preparation and recruitment.
Jung Sung-jin, Director of the University Job Headquarters at Samyook University, said, "We consider the first four months after graduation as the golden time for employment, and we will focus our support to help graduates secure stable employment during this period." He added, "We will continue to expand various customized programs to do our best to help enrolled students and graduates successfully pioneer their desired career paths."
