Sales of Cosmetics and Beauty Devices Across Europe
Exports Include Beauty Device "Booster Pro"
Korean Cosmetics Show Strong Growth in Europe
Global beauty company APR is set to actively sell cosmetics and beauty devices to local distributors in Europe.
On the 27th, APR announced that it will export a total of 22 cosmetic products from its flagship beauty brands Mediheal and Aprilskin, along with the Mediheal AGE-R beauty device 'Booster Pro,' to Europe. Since last year, APR has been supplying products through contracts with local distributors in the UK, Spain, Finland, and other European countries. This year, the company is expanding its sales network across Europe by increasing contracts with distributors based in Eastern and Northern Europe.
Currently, exports of Korean cosmetics are rapidly increasing in the European market. According to the Korea Cosmetic Industry Institute (KCII), compared to 2023, the growth rates of K-Beauty last year showed strong performance across Europe, including Eastern Europe such as Poland (144.1%) and Belarus (131.6%), Northern Europe such as Denmark (110.5%) and Finland (66%), as well as Western Europe including Germany (46.7%) and Spain (43.2%).
The export volume this time saw large orders of cosmetics, demonstrating the popularity of Korean cosmetics. Mediheal’s traditionally popular product, the 'Zero Pore Pad,' along with products highly favored by Western consumers such as the 'Collagen Night Wrapping Mask,' 'Collagen Jelly Cream,' and 'Deep Vita C Capsule Cream' recorded high order volumes. European stakeholders also showed strong interest in Aprilskin’s Carotene line and APR’s flagship beauty device, Booster Pro.
Based on its achievements in global markets including the United States, APR plans to target the European market with a B2B business model. Following its participation in CES 2025 last month, APR has received inquiries from European local distributors who attended or learned about the event, indicating a positive sales outlook locally. In particular, besides existing sales channels such as e-commerce and beauty select shops, distribution channels like department stores are also showing great interest in K-Beauty, suggesting that future performance originating from Europe is likely to trend upward.
An APR representative stated, "Europe is integrated geographically and economically as the Eurozone, so if we can increase our influence within the market, it can become a stable source of revenue." They added, "We will continue to elevate the status of APR’s cosmetics and beauty devices in Europe, where K-Beauty is rapidly growing."
