Honda Korea officially launched the family car minivan '2025 New Odyssey' and has begun full-scale sales, the company announced on the 27th.

The Honda Odyssey, which set the standard for family minivans, was first introduced in 1994 based on the concept of "a comfortable, safe, and enjoyable space for families." Since then, it has sold nearly 3 million units in the North American market and has been a popular model loved worldwide.

The 2025 Odyssey has been refreshed with sporty styling reminiscent of a sport utility vehicle (SUV). The front features a newly designed bumper, front grille, and black grille bar, while the rear is equipped with a rear bumper emphasizing angular lines to complete a robust design. Additionally, new 19-inch alloy wheels have been applied to create a sporty and sleek contrast to the grand side character lines.

The interior features new brown-black two-tone perforated leather seats to provide a modern yet cozy atmosphere. The second-row Magic Slide seats, which can recline, move forward, backward, left, and right, as well as be detached and folded, allow for various seat arrangements depending on the number of passengers and usage situations.

The instrument panel is equipped with a 7-inch TFT meter with improved visibility and a 9-inch center display audio with enhanced size and performance compared to the previous model. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also standard features.

The rear entertainment system (RES) located at the top of the second row has been completely upgraded. The monitor has grown to 12.8 inches, the largest in its class, and supports Full HD high resolution. With the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) feature, users can freely connect streaming devices, smartphones, tablets, and headphones according to their preferences, allowing them to watch various OTT content like a smart TV.

The powertrain is equipped with a 3.5ℓ direct injection i-VTEC engine. It delivers a powerful driving performance with a maximum output of 284 horsepower and a maximum torque of 36.2 kg·m, which is strong compared to its class. The advanced driver assistance system, Honda SENSING, includes a collision mitigation braking system (CMBS) with enhanced pedestrian detection, a lane keeping assist system (LKAS), a road departure mitigation (RDM) system with lane departure warning (LDW), an adaptive cruise control (ACC) with low-speed follow function, an auto high beam system (AHB), and a blind spot information system (BSI).

The 2025 Odyssey also newly features Honda Connect, a connected service that allows remote vehicle control, status management, and emergency notifications. The price of the 2025 Odyssey is 62.9 million KRW, applying the individual consumption tax reduction benefit.
