Recognized for Developing Participatory Teaching Aids for Elementary Students
Accuon Savings Bank announced on the 27th that it received the Savings Bank Central Association President's Award in the Outstanding Financial Company Employee category at the '1 Company 1 School Financial Education Excellence Awards Ceremony' held at the Financial Supervisory Service in Yeouido, Seoul on the 26th.

The 1 Company 1 School financial education program, hosted by the Financial Supervisory Service, is a program where financial companies form partnerships with elementary, middle, and high schools to provide various financial education to students. The Financial Supervisory Service holds an annual awards ceremony to select and reward outstanding cases of 1 Company 1 School financial education in both group and individual categories.
Lee Young-hee, manager of the Consumer Protection Team at Accuon Savings Bank, who was selected as an outstanding individual case, was recognized for developing participatory teaching aids tailored to the level of elementary school students. She also designed a financial education program linked to real-life situations.
Accuon Savings Bank, together with Accuon Capital, has been operating a customized education program since 2018 through a sisterhood partnership with Yeonpung Elementary School in Paju.
The program consists mainly of ▲ theoretical education on financial knowledge such as the necessity of saving and the importance of credit ▲ quizzes related to financial knowledge ▲ practical programs such as writing allowance ledgers and creating bankbooks.
