This inauguration ceremony was held at the Busan headquarters to form the 3rd Youth Board following the expiration of the 2nd Youth Board's term, which was launched in February last year, and to raise awareness of creating organizational synergy based on innovation, communication, and collaboration.
The Kibo Youth Board is a youth council composed of young generation practitioners. It was established to open a channel for discovering youth-centered innovative ideas, expand consensus among generations, and foster an innovative culture based on communication within the organization.
The 2nd Youth Board proposed a total of 20 innovation agendas directly to management through four regular meetings last year, including intergenerational communication lectures, activation of the smart work system, and a clean communication campaign in dormitories. It also played a role as a communication channel for the ideas of the young generation by sharing agendas with all employees and collecting opinions. Additionally, it contributed to activating communication within the organization by participating in the new employee training process and lecturing on workplace know-how.
During the innovation communication session held after the inauguration ceremony, the Youth Board shared meeting operation know-how between the 2nd and 3rd Youth Boards, listened to the review opinions of the relevant departments on existing innovation agendas, and discussed improvement directions. The 3rd Youth Board members expressed their aspirations, stating, "We will take the lead in presenting fresh and new ideas from the perspective of the young generation and promoting communication among members to create an organizational culture that all employees can empathize with."
Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, who attended the inauguration ceremony, said, "The various innovative activities of the 2nd Youth Board have brought positive changes to the organization," and added, "I believe that the newly launched 3rd Youth Board will open a bright future and new possibilities for Kibo based on passion and a spirit of challenge."
