On the 27th, KT announced that it will promote a GPU subscription service business (GPUaaS) in collaboration with the AI startup 'Ravelup'. KT plans to continuously cooperate with startups that have technological capabilities to expand the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem and engage in practical AI service development.

GPUaaS is a service that rents GPU resources to companies requiring high-performance computing, such as AI model training. Since users do not need to own GPUs directly and can use only what they need, anyone can create an AI development environment at a reasonable cost.

The two companies signed a business agreement to jointly promote the AI cloud service business. Through this agreement, both parties will jointly develop and promote the GPU subscription service business. To differentiate from other services, KT will also showcase its unique functions and technologies. Considering the rapidly growing market due to the recent global AI transformation (AX) demand increase, they plan to launch the service as soon as possible.

Ravelup is a company that develops AI infrastructure operation management platforms. It virtualizes GPU resources and flexibly allocates and manages them where needed, helping customers use the service more efficiently.
