U.S. President Donald Trump posted a video on social media outlining his plan to develop the Gaza Strip in Palestine into a resort area.
On the 25th (local time), President Trump uploaded a 33-second video containing this content on Truth Social. The video is presumed to have been created using artificial intelligence (AI) and features figures believed to be President Trump, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The video begins with the ruins of the Gaza Strip, followed by the phrase "Gaza in 2025, what will happen next?" After this, scenes of a cityscape with high-rise buildings and white sandy beaches appear. This part is interpreted as representing Trump's vision to develop Gaza into a resort area.
Throughout the video, fast-paced background music plays, occasionally accompanied by lyrics such as "No more fear. 'Trump Gaza' has finally arrived here. Trump Gaza shines brightly. A golden future, a new life."
Earlier, on the 4th, President Trump held a summit with Prime Minister Netanyahu and presented a plan for the U.S. to relocate Palestinian residents and transform the Gaza Strip into the "Riviera of the Middle East." This plan sparked backlash from Palestinian residents, the Arab world, and the international community. Despite this, President Trump’s posting of a video related to the Gaza Strip plan can be seen as a demonstration of his determination regarding the project.
Meanwhile, Trump's plan to develop the Gaza Strip into a resort appears to be progressing behind the scenes. According to Bloomberg News, Steve Witkoff, Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East, stated on the same day that "a meeting with major developers and planners in the Middle East region will be held soon."
