Gochang County Rated 'Excellent' in Data-Driven Administration Evaluation by Ministry of the Interior and Safety

"The Only Basic Local Government in North Jeolla Province"

Gochang County in North Jeolla Province announced on the 26th that it has achieved an excellent rating in the "2024 Data-Based Administration Evaluation" organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

It became the only basic local government in North Jeolla Province to receive an excellent rating, establishing itself as a leader in data-based administration.

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety evaluates 679 administrative and public institutions across three areas and ten indicators, including data analysis/utilization, sharing, and management systems, and assigns ratings of excellent, average, or insufficient.

The county has made significant efforts to strengthen its data utilization capabilities by reflecting the results of public Wi-Fi location analysis in its policies and actively participating in projects such as establishing standard analysis models and data analysis consulting organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.

Yu Changhyeong, head of the county's Administrative Support Division, said, "We will continue to do our best to realize objective and scientific policies by utilizing data."
