Ulju-gun Establishes Electronic System for Facilities Subject to Mandatory Disinfection

Ulju-gun Public Health Center is establishing and operating the first electronic disinfection certification system for facilities subject to mandatory disinfection in the Ulsan, Busan, and Gyeongnam areas.


The newly introduced "Electronic Disinfection Certification System" allows disinfection businesses to enter disinfection data for facilities subject to mandatory disinfection, such as lodging facilities and restaurants, into a computerized system via a smartphone app after performing disinfection. The disinfection results are then shared with the public health center, enabling immediate verification of whether disinfection has been carried out.


This system is expected to improve the work efficiency of disinfection businesses and reduce administrative burdens by addressing drawbacks of the existing management methods, such as missed reports and document loss through mail or fax regarding compliance with disinfection of mandatory facilities.


On the 25th, Ulju-gun Public Health Center conducted user training for representatives and workers of local disinfection businesses and plans to pilot the system this year to help workers adapt to it. Additionally, continuous guidance and promotion will be carried out to ensure the system's successful adoption.
