Donation of 43 Bags of 20kg Rice to Support Neighbors in Need

Manbulsa Temple, located in Anui-myeon, Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam, announced on the 26th that it donated 43 bags of 20kg rice to the Anui-myeon Office to help neighbors in need in the region, together with Hamyang-gun Council member Jeong Gwang-seok.

Manbulsa Temple has been continuously performing good deeds, such as regularly donating rice every year to help neighbors in need in the community.


This year as well, they expressed their heartfelt intention to help those in need, saying, “We hope that the warm energy like spring sunshine will be well delivered to places in the community that need assistance,” and “We will continue to practice sharing together with the monks.”


In response, Hong Jung-geun, head of Anui-myeon, expressed gratitude, saying, “We deeply thank Venerable Manbulsa Temple’s chief monk who practices compassion for the underprivileged and Council member Jeong Gwang-seok who joined in. We will carefully deliver this helping hand to households that truly need it.”


Meanwhile, the donated rice is scheduled to be distributed to welfare blind spots and low-income households within the district.
