Lee Doyoung Inaugurated as New Head of Gwangju Labor Office Lee Doyoung, the 32nd newly appointed Director of Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Office.

The Gwangju Regional Employment and Labor Office announced on the 24th that Lee Doyoung has been appointed as the 32nd chief.


After graduating from the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Pusan National University, the newly appointed chief Lee began his career as an administrative officer in 1995. He has served in key positions at the Ministry of Employment and Labor, including Director of the Gangwon Branch of the Jungbu Regional Employment and Labor Office, Director of the Employment Culture Improvement Policy Division, Director of the Employment Service Policy Division, Chairman of the Ulsan Regional Labor Relations Commission, and Standing Member of the Gyeonggi Regional Labor Relations Commission, establishing himself as an expert in employment and labor administration.


Chief Lee began his duties without an inauguration ceremony, taking into account the recent economic crisis and regional labor-management issues.


Chief Lee stated, "It is necessary to implement customized labor administration that considers the diverse industrial structures of Gwangju, Jeonnam, Jeonbuk, and Jeju. We will focus our capabilities on stabilizing jobs and livelihoods, continuously pursue labor reforms for future generations, and guide the establishment of autonomous labor-management safety and health systems, thereby carrying out field-oriented employment and labor administration."
