Pukyong National University Hosts the 2nd G-Lamp SEED Workshop

Under the Theme of
"Sharing Research Achievements Related to the Water Cycle
and Creating a Sustainable Ecosystem through Cooperation"

The G-LAMP Project Group at Pukyong National University (Director Professor Kim Young-seok) and the SEED Research Institute (Director Professor Yang Min-jun) held the 2nd G-LAMP SEED Workshop over two days from the 19th to the 20th at the Lahan Select Hotel in Gyeongju.

The workshop was successfully held under the theme "Sharing Research Achievements Related to the Water Cycle and Creating a Sustainable Ecosystem through Cooperation," with over 80 researchers in the field of Earth environment participating.


The workshop featured presentations of research achievements in the fields of atmosphere, ocean, and geology, discussions on key issues, and planning for the next year. Participating researchers exchanged ideas through poster presentations and discussions. Through keynote lectures and community experience programs, the importance of convergent research and communication was shared.


Kim Young-seok, Director of the G-LAMP Project Group, said, "Through this workshop, we were able to share research achievements and discuss ways to set more challenging research directions and cooperate in the future. We plan to create more opportunities for researchers to communicate and grow together."


Yang Min-jun, Director of the SEED Research Institute, said, "It was a meaningful opportunity for researchers from various fields to seek practical cooperation methods to solve real-world problems. We will strive to establish the SEED Research Institute as a global hub for water cycle research."


This event was held to promote the sustainable development of the G-LAMP project at Pukyong National University, which aims for challenging research for the Earth environment, and to enhance cooperation among researchers.
