Strengthening Digital Capabilities, Planning, and Public Relations Skills
Yeongam County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Woo Seunghee) is implementing a 'Professional Job Training for Public Officials' program to lead the rapidly changing environment of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and to cultivate the ability to meet the complex and diverse administrative needs of its residents.
According to the county on the 24th, this professional job training, in which all employees participate on the last Wednesday of each month from February to June, will be conducted five times, covering nine practical subjects including ▲policy planning ▲use of generative AI ▲budget and accounting.
To strengthen the digital capabilities, planning, and public relations skills of public officials, experts from various fields working at the National and Local Human Resources Development Institutes, Jeonnam Public Officials Training Institute, and the Election Commission will be invited.
The first session, scheduled for the 26th, will feature Cho Seokhoon, Policy Planning Officer of Jeollanam-do, who will give a lecture on 'How to Write a Planning Report.' Recognized as a policy planning expert both inside and outside Jeollanam-do, Cho will share his expertise with Yeongam County public officials.
The training content includes ▲basic principles of writing planning reports ▲methods for effective and logical policy communication ▲practical report writing and case analysis.
Kim Youngjung, Director of Planning and Budget, stated, "We will provide various educational opportunities so that public officials can further grow and provide higher-quality administrative services to residents," adding, "We will create a public service culture that actively responds to the changing administrative environment."
Meanwhile, Yeongam County's professional job training for public officials will continue with advanced courses in the second half of this year.
