Yeungjin College (President Choi Jae-young) announced on the 23rd that it has been selected for two categories of the "Youth Employment Service Project" hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Yeungjin College was the only institution selected in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region for this project.
The Youth Employment Service Project is a government-supported program aimed at helping young people prepare for employment and expanding job opportunities. The projects Yeungjin College was selected for are the "Customized Employment Service for High School Students" and the "Specialized Program for Graduates," with the university's University Job Plus Center responsible for managing the operations.
The "Customized Employment Service for High School Students" project provides systematic support including career exploration, counseling, job training, employment linkage, and follow-up management for graduates of specialized and general high schools preparing for employment. This helps students set their career paths early and secure practical employment opportunities.
Additionally, through the "Specialized Program for Graduates," the project supports graduates in developing their careers and entering society stably. In particular, it plans to strengthen systematic support by identifying unemployed graduates, providing one-on-one customized consulting, linking them to employment, and offering follow-up management after employment.
President Choi Jae-young stated, "Through the selection for this Ministry of Employment and Labor project, we can now provide practical employment support not only to graduates but also to high school students," adding, "We will actively support young people in finding stable jobs by strengthening employment support programs linked with the local community."
