Competition Rate Peaks at 410 to 1 in Main Subscription

Among the 3rd phase new towns, the general supply competition rate for Goyang Changneung New Town, which conducted its first main subscription this year, recorded a peak of 410 to 1.

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 21st that 32,451 applicants applied for 610 general supply units in three blocks (A4, S5, S6) of the first village in Goyang Changneung New Town. The average competition rate was calculated to be 53 to 1.

By block, the average competition rate was highest in S5 at 96 to 1, with 19,393 applicants for 202 units supplied. Among these, the S5 block 84㎡ type had 6,147 applicants for 15 units, reaching a competition rate of 410 to 1. The 74㎡ type showed a competition rate of 131 to 1. The remaining 59㎡ type ended with 84 to 1, and the 51㎡ type with 31 to 1.

The S6 block received 7,290 applications for 116 units, with an average competition rate of 63 to 1. The 74㎡ type had a competition rate of 101 to 1, higher than the 59㎡ type (50 to 1). The A4 block had an average competition rate of 20 to 1, with 7,290 applicants for 116 units of the 55㎡ type.

Goyang Changneung New Town is a 3rd phase new town project developed over an area of 7.89 million square meters in Wonheung-dong, Doksan-dong, and Yongdu-dong, Deogyang-gu, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi Province. The total supply volume is 1,792 units, with 610 units offered for general supply excluding pre-subscription units.
