Global TOP3 powder conveying system specialist DYPNF has achieved significant external growth along with securing a large-scale order worth approximately 100 billion KRW.
DYPNF announced on the 21st that it has won a contract from Korea South-East Power to build environmental facilities for Units 1 and 2 of the Yeongheung Thermal Power Plant. This project involves improving and replacing environmental facilities such as electrostatic precipitators and desulfurization equipment at the Yeongheung Thermal Power Plant.
In this project, DYPNF will carry out EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) tasks including detailed design, equipment supply, and installation and construction. The total contract amount is 99.7 billion KRW, and the construction period is until September next year.
DYPNF is the domestic leader in powder conveying systems, focusing on traditional chemical and specialty chemical industries as well as secondary battery material sectors. Based on the technology and equipment manufacturing capabilities accumulated in the powder conveying system business, the company is actively participating in environmental sector projects. It has previously secured storage, conveying equipment, and environmental facility projects at major domestic coal-fired power plants such as Taean and Yeongheung.
A DYPNF representative said, “We have been recognized for our outstanding design and construction capabilities and succeeded in securing our first large-scale order in the environmental sector this year,” adding, “We will actively target the domestic and international pneumatic conveying system (PCS) and environmental facility markets based on our high technology and business references.”
Meanwhile, DYPNF achieved sales of 289 billion KRW and an operating profit of 25.7 billion KRW last year. Based on a substantial order backlog, the company plans to maintain stable growth this year as well.
