The meeting was held with about 220 participants, including Hankook Tire's offline franchise stores such as T Station, a tire-centered total automotive service specialist, and TBX, a truck and bus specialty store, as well as dealer company officials.
The event began with an opening video showcasing Hankook Tire's activities over the past year, followed by an excellent dealer award and a 30-year service award ceremony, presentations on this year's sales strategy and new product launch plans for the Korea business division, congratulatory performances, and a prize draw.
Hankook Tire achieved its highest-ever performance since its founding last year, recording sales of 9.4119 trillion KRW and operating profit of 1.7622 trillion KRW. On this day, Hankook Tire selected 91 domestic dealers who contributed to the company's growth last year through the "Excellent Dealer Award" and provided plaques and incentive tour opportunities.
Measures to strengthen sales in the domestic market were also explored. Hankook Tire aims not only for external growth this year but also to expand the sales proportion of high value-added products of 18 inches or larger to over 50%, and to increase the supply of electric vehicle-specific tires in the original equipment tire sector. In addition, the company plans to make every effort to establish a sustainable growth foundation with partners through building an eco-friendly value chain.
Lee Yong-kwan, head of Hankook Tire's Korea business division, said, "Following last year, we plan to further strengthen the status of the global integrated brand 'Hankook' based on global top-tier innovative technology and product competitiveness," adding, "We hope this meeting will serve as a driving force to solidify cooperation with key partners and enhance sales competitiveness in the domestic market."
