The Credit Recovery Committee (CRC) announced on the 21st that it held a launch ceremony at the CRC headquarters located in Jung-gu, Seoul, with 14 members of the '19th University Student Press Corps.'
The press corps, selected from across the country, plans to introduce the CRC's key programs tailored to customers' perspectives and actively participate in events organized by the committee to convey diverse voices from the field.
One university student reporter selected for the corps said, "Economic difficulties can happen to anyone," adding, "With the mindset that anyone can become a beneficiary of the debt adjustment system, I will take the lead in promoting the social safety net functions provided by the committee."
Jung Soon-ho, Secretary General of the CRC, stated, "Since economic hardships come suddenly, many neighbors suffer due to lack of knowledge or misinformation about the debt adjustment system," and added, "We ask that you become responsible guides so that those in need of CRC's help do not face difficulties due to information and knowledge gaps."
Meanwhile, since 2009, the CRC has been producing content such as news articles and card news through the university student press corps, covering not only the debt adjustment system but also credit education and microfinance, and posting them on the CRC's official SNS channels.
