KB Kookmin Bank's 'KB Liiv M (KB Live Mobile)' is launching a new senior plan for customers in their 60s.
The senior plan is available for subscription starting at age 60, which is considered the actual retirement age, and consultations and activations can be done at KB Kookmin Bank branches nationwide.
The newly released plans are exclusive to KB Kookmin Bank branches and include two types: ▲Kookmin Senior 11 (monthly base fee of 11,300 KRW) and ▲Kookmin Senior 14 (monthly base fee of 14,900 KRW).
With relatively low monthly base fees, users can enjoy unlimited data, voice, and text services. When the maximum discount is applied, the 'Kookmin Senior 11' plan is available for 6,900 KRW, and the 'Kookmin Senior 14' plan for 10,500 KRW. Additionally, KB Financial customers can pay their communication fees using 'Pointree'.
A KB Kookmin Bank representative stated, "This plan was developed to provide reasonable communication services to senior customers who have retired," adding, "We will continue to introduce competitive products and services unique to KB Liiv Mobile."
Meanwhile, KB Liiv Mobile offers specialized services combining finance and telecommunications, such as free phishing insurance, communication fee protection insurance, and voice phishing prevention services, focusing on preventing financial fraud targeting senior customers. It also carries out various social contribution activities, including providing 1.1 billion KRW worth of communication fee support through the 'Sharing (Welfare) Discount System' for vulnerable groups and donations for welfare projects for national veterans and their families.
