HYBE, the agency home to groups like BTS and Seventeen, is creating a boy group that will be active in the United States. According to HYBE on the 21st, Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, HYBE America CEO Scooter Braun, and renowned producer Ryan Tedder recently formed a partnership and launched a rookie boy group production project. They have opened an official audition website and started recruiting applicants. The eligible age range for applicants is 13 to 23 years old.

Tedder is a producer who has collaborated with global musicians such as Beyonc?, Adele, and Ed Sheeran, winning the Grammy Awards four times. He also participated in the production of songs like Tomorrow X Together (TXT)'s "Back for More," ANTHEM's "Dropkick," and CATS' "Debut." CEO Braun is well known as a manager who has guided pop stars like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande to the top.


Chairman Bang Si-hyuk stated, "HYBE Music Group artists consistently achieve global success every year by dominating major charts. In particular, through CATS, it has been proven that the K-pop methodology can succeed in the mainstream U.S. market. Collaborating with Tedder to introduce a new boy group is a significant step forward in continuing our legacy in the music industry." Tedder said, "I am excited to participate in this new and interesting project. We will create the most 'fan-centered group' in existence with the best music."
