Hwahae Presents 'KEY' as Core Consumer Trend of the Year... "Key to K-Beauty Growth"

Sharing the Outlook for K-Beauty Trends at the Seminar

Birdview, the operator of the beauty platform 'Hwahae,' announced on the 21st that the '2025 Hwahae Trend Seminar' held on the 11th was successfully concluded with about 1,800 participants registering.


This seminar was conducted to help the growth of K-beauty brands in the rapidly changing beauty market. Topics included ▲how to capture global beauty trends and opportunities ▲opportunities and mistakes to avoid in the U.S. K-beauty market ▲three beauty marketing prospects based on Hwahae user data ▲how to fully utilize Hwahae in the K-beauty market, with industry professionals participating as speakers to share various know-how.

In the first session, Hee-seon Lee, Sales Head Manager of the global trend analysis company 'WGSN,' provided insights on this year's beauty trend outlook and overseas expansion. Devon Abelman, CEO of a U.S. beauty consulting firm, introduced positioning strategies for K-beauty brands to establish themselves in the U.S. market.


In the second session, Hwahae's selected key consumer trend of the year, 'KEY,' was introduced. In-geon Hwang, Hwahae data scientist, presented on ▲consumers with expertise (K: Know-smetics) ▲easily finding one’s own beauty (E: Easy pick) ▲an era of discovering your uniqueness (Y: YOUnique).


In the final session, Ja-eun Shin, Hwahae Advertising Sales Part Lead, proposed strategies and execution plans based on Hwahae’s data for indie brands to expand domestic and international recognition and strengthen consumer touchpoints.


Kyung-il Kim, CEO of Hwahae, stated, "We will continue to strive to support the global growth of K-beauty brands."
