Hectodata Selected as ‘Data Voucher Support Project Supplier’ for 5 Consecutive Years

Data specialist company HectoData (CEO Seungcheol Oh) announced on the 21st that it has been selected as a ‘Data Voucher Support Project Supplier’ for five consecutive years.

The Data Voucher Support Project, organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Data Agency (K-data), is a system designed to solve issues such as time, cost, and manpower shortages faced by startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that need to utilize data. It connects 'supplier companies' with data and processing technologies to 'demand companies' that need data, and provides vouchers to demand companies to support data purchase and processing.

Demand companies can receive vouchers worth up to 45 million KRW issued by government agencies to utilize data collection, processing, and analysis services to strengthen their business competitiveness. Companies needing data utilization can also receive detailed consultations through the HectoData website.

Through this project, HectoData provides advanced services that lead to tangible results, such as professional consulting and customized data processing. To this end, it plans to actively utilize advanced technologies including AI modeling, predictive analysis, and advanced data visualization.

Starting in 2021, HectoData has participated as a supplier company in the Data Voucher Support Project for five consecutive years. During this time, HectoData has continuously supported the digital transformation of companies struggling with data-based business innovation and new service development by providing customized public, financial, and medical data supply to over 500 institutions, as well as consulting covering the entire process from utilization strategy establishment to service implementation.

HectoData’s data utilization support has led to tangible results for its clients. These include a healthcare startup that increased customer trust by 25% through the development of a customized health analysis service; a small business marketing platform that improved marketing investment return on investment (ROI) by 30% through commercial district analysis data; and an insuretech company that increased customer conversion rates by 20% through the development of an insurance recommendation algorithm. These cases demonstrate the value of data utilization across business areas such as customer acquisition, sales growth, and operational efficiency.

Seungcheol Oh, CEO of HectoData, said, “We will do our best to lower the barriers to data utilization so that SMEs and startups can seize growth opportunities,” adding, “We will spare no effort to provide practical support so that companies can achieve rapid digital transformation.”

Meanwhile, HectoData is a data specialist company that collects high-quality data and provides it to corporate clients in the form of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces, language standards for exchanging data between applications). With simple coding work, data can be easily and conveniently integrated, enabling rapid service implementation.
