Bang Si-hyuk draws attention with noticeably slimmer appearance at first Korea Economic Association general meeting attendance
Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of HYBE, appeared at an official event having lost a significant amount of weight.
On the 20th, Chairman Bang attended the 64th regular general meeting of the Korea Economic Association (KEA) held at the FKI Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul.
The meeting was held to handle the reappointment of Ryu Jin as KEA chairman and the approval of new memberships for 46 companies including KT, Naver, Kakao, and HYBE. This was Chairman Bang's first time attending the KEA regular general meeting.

Wearing a black suit and black-rimmed glasses, Chairman Bang went up on stage with other representatives of new member companies for a commemorative photo. He attracted attention with a noticeably slimmer appearance compared to before.
This was the first time Chairman Bang appeared at an official event since attending a meeting with Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, in May last year.

In August last year, a YouTube video accidentally captured him walking down a street in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles (LA), USA. In the same month, Chairman Bang also released a photo taken with Andrew Ng, a world-renowned scholar in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) and a professor at Stanford University, showing a noticeably slimmer figure compared to before, which drew considerable attention.
