First, the eligibility for hearing aid purchase support is for county residents born on or before December 31, 1960, who have been diagnosed with hearing loss of 50 dB or higher based on a hearing test. To apply, residents must submit an application form, consent for the provision of personal information, hearing test results, and a copy of their resident registration to the county health center. Once selected, recipients can purchase a hearing aid worth approximately 2 million won by paying only a personal contribution of 200,000 won.

Additionally, recipients of the Basic Livelihood Security Program and those in the lower-income bracket can receive shingles vaccinations free of charge. Senior citizens who have been registered residents in the county for more than six months are eligible for a 70% subsidy on vaccination costs. Pneumococcal vaccinations are available free of charge to all county residents aged 65 and older. Residents wishing to receive vaccinations can contact the county health center for more information.

County Governor Kim Hanjong stated, "We will continue our efforts to reduce the financial burden in the medical field so that all senior citizens can lead healthy lives."
