Korea Federation of SMEs Begins Selection of Tenants for Online and Offline Distribution Channels

Applications and Registration Open Until the 12th of Next Month

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 19th that it will open applications for participation in the product evaluation meeting to select companies for entry into online and offline distribution channels.

The distribution channels participating in the product evaluation meeting in the first half of this year include five major department stores (Galleria, Lotte, Shinsegae, Hyundai, AK), Lotte Mart, Homeplus, 11st, Lotte Shopping e-commerce, Woowa Brothers, Korea Post Shopping, Coupang, and Home & Shopping, totaling 13 companies. The recruitment target for the product evaluation meeting is domestic consumer goods manufacturing SMEs, and the target items include all products except large home appliances and furniture.


SMEs that pass the document screening will have the opportunity to participate in win-win business activities such as entry into distribution channels after face-to-face evaluation by professional MDs of participating companies at the product evaluation meeting. In addition, SMEs entering distribution channels through the product evaluation meeting will receive benefits such as preferential commission rates and entry into sales spaces dedicated to SMEs. Especially this year, with the participation of 13 distribution companies including Woowa Brothers, 11st, and Korea Post Shopping, it is expected that opportunities to support sales channels for SMEs will be further expanded.


The document submission period is until 6 p.m. on the 12th of next month, and the main event is scheduled to be held on April 23 at the Kbiz Hall of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business. Applications, registration, and document submission will be conducted online, and detailed information can be found on the official website of the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business.


Son Seong-won, Director of the Small Business Policy Office at Kbiz, said, "This product evaluation meeting is a meaningful occasion to cooperate with large distribution companies so that excellent products of SMEs can gain more opportunities in the market," adding, "We will continue to promote various win-win cooperation projects so that SMEs can enhance their competitiveness and secure stable sales channels."
