Donghwa Electrolyte Completes Electrolyte Production Facility in Tennessee, USA

Annual Production Capacity of 86,000 Tons

Dongwha Electrolyte announced on the 19th that it has completed a new electrolyte production facility in Tennessee, USA. The annual production capacity is 86,000 tons, enough to produce 2 million electric vehicles.

The Tennessee production facility is Dongwha Electrolyte's first factory established on the American continent. Built in the South Central region, where many automakers and battery companies are located, it plans to proactively respond to future North American battery demand and closely collaborate with leading domestic and international companies.


With the completion of the Tennessee production facility, Dongwha Electrolyte has established production bases across Asia, Europe, and North America. The global production capacity now reaches approximately 160,000 tons annually.


Seung Jisoo, CEO of Dongwha Electrolyte, stated, "By establishing the Tennessee production facility equipped with large-scale production capabilities and advanced process systems, we have completed all preparations to proactively capture the American battery materials market. We will continue to pursue quantitative and qualitative growth to firmly strengthen our unique corporate competitiveness."
