Gyeonggi-do Provides Consultation on Review and Adjustment of Long-Term Maintenance Plans for Apartment Complexes

Gyeonggi Province will expand the support scope of the ‘Gyeonggi Province Apartment Management Support Advisory Group’ from the long-term repair plan establishment stage to the review and adjustment stages starting this year.

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 19th that the Apartment Management Support Advisory Group, which previously operated only during the long-term repair plan establishment stage, will expand its activities to also provide advice during the 3-year periodic review and adjustment stages as stipulated by the Apartment Management Act after the plan’s establishment starting this year.

This decision comes in response to recent conflicts among residents in some apartment complexes arising from reliance on external services for reviewing and adjusting long-term repair plans, which led to disputes over costs and other issues.

To this end, Gyeonggi Province plans to collaborate with the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) Central Apartment Management Support Center (Apartment Maintenance Information System) and the Korea Association of Housing Managers (Long-term Repair Plan Operation System) to jointly provide advice on how to use the apartment management system.
