Gyeonggi Province will inspect the management status of 112 public facility sites that have not been sold yet, despite being completed at least two years ago and having residents move in, from the 27th of this month until the 31st of next month.
On the 19th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will conduct a field survey on a total of 112 public facility sites, including 87 sites in 19 housing development districts such as Gimpo Hangang that have passed two years since completion, and 25 sites in 11 public housing districts such as Hwaseong Bongdam2.
These sites have mostly been left as vacant land due to reasons such as lack of administrative demand and budget shortages, resulting in no sales.
In particular, these unsold public facility sites have been left as vacant land despite the completion of nearby apartment move-ins, causing inconvenience to residents such as landscape damage and lack of public facilities.
During this inspection, Gyeonggi Province will focus on ▲ the usage status and utilization plans of unsold public facility sites ▲ the purchase intentions and plans of designated purchasing institutions, and reasons for purchase delays ▲ the status of land use changes for sites where purchase was abandoned, and plans for mixed-use utilization.
A Gyeonggi Province official stated, "We will do our best not only to manage and inspect unsold sites but also to alleviate inconveniences for residents and citizens through the reorganization of public facility site plans."
